Our Curriculum

We believe that childhood is a unique time of life, to be valued and enjoyed in its own right.  We also recognize that this is the time where foundations are laid for future health, learning and well being.

Our kindergarten curriculum is created by drawing together advice from the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG), in conjunction with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).  Children and families are valued as co-creators of the daily curriculum.

Reflections are emailed to keep families up to date with all our Kindy Learning and Fun.

Spontaneous play-based experiences are highly valued and we provide a multitude of opportunities for children to experiment, discover and learn through play.

To extend and enrich children’s learning,  art, music and movement, early numeracy and literacy are all interwoven within our warm, caring, play-based, child-centred program.

Within our safe, secure and supportive environment children are able to:

• develop independence and confidence,
• explore their interests,
• learn at their own pace,
• develop friendships,
• be effective communicators, and
• become important members of our learning community.
