Beerwah Kindy is an affiliated Lady Gowrie Community Kindergarten. We have an excellent reputation for providing high quality early childhood education and care. We are located in Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast and have an established history in the local community stretching back over fifty years.

Our Kindy is a community based, not for profit association providing a nurturing and educational experience for children in the year before they attend Prep It is a place where children and families can learn, grow and unite.

Beerwah & District Kindergarten is rated EXCEEDING in all seven areas of the National Quality Standard.

The QLD Government recently rated our Kindy Curriculum as “Exceeding” across all seven areas of the National Quality Standard.

Our university qualified teachers ensure that each child cultivates a lifelong love of learning, is reaching their potential, and that when they leave Kindergarten they have the skills necessary for a smooth and successful transition to formal schooling and later life.

Kindy Hours

Our kindy programs operate for 15 hours a week, 40 weeks per year. Our programs run from 8:45am to 2:45pm, five days a fortnight during each school term.

We have two kindy groups running. The Cockatoo Group runs on Monday, Tuesday and every alternative Wednesday OR the Kookaburra Group runs on Thursday, Friday and every alternative Wednesday.

How do I enrol my child?

If you would like to enrol your child in our kindy program please fill out a waiting list application and we will be in touch. There is a $10 non-refundable fee to place your child on our waiting list. We now accept online waiting list applications. Fill out the online form 

What age should my child attend kindergarten?

Our Kindergarten is approved to care for children 3 years to school age. Children must turn 4 years by or on 30 June the year they attend Kindy.
